Denver Union Station Wayfinding Strategy
Denver Union Station (DUS) is the premier, intermodal transit facility in the Denver metro region. It serves as the connecting point for all but one of RTD’s rail lines and many bus routes, including some operated by external agencies. DUS is also a gateway hub for both locals and visitors needing to access Denver International Airport via RTD’s A-line.

With DUS serving as a major transportation hub and spanning several blocks in Downtown Denver, clear and effective wayfinding is a necessity to ensure all transit users can easily navigate the site. Additionally, this project directly supports one of the Agency’s current initiatives to create a welcoming transit environment.
In my role at Applied Information Group I lead design of the assessment document and existing signage document on site. I collaborated with the Planning Director on site analysis, strategy, and content of the document.
